Chen Liang

Ph.D. degree in History (Tsinghua University)

Chen Liang was born in February 1979, in Hanjiang, Jiangsu. He earned his Ph.D. degree in History from Tsinghua University. He became a postdoctoral in the Center for Chinese Studies, the University of Michigan from July 2007 to May 2009. From September 2009, he joined the Department of History, Nanjing University, currently as an associate professor in the Teaching and Research Office of Modern History. His specialization includes the History of Social Economics in the Republic of China period, Standard of Living, Education Acquisition and Social Strata, etc.
